Design-Build
Design-build is a method of project delivery in which one entity - the design-build team - works under a single contract with the project owner to provide design and construction services. One entity, one contract, one unified flow of work from initial concept through completion. This is what we at Heart and Hammer Homes are bringing to our clients in the Mount Washington Valley and beyond. We can oversee this on a kitchen and bath only project, or a full house remodel or new build project. With our dedicated and talented in-house staff, we strive to bring our clients the best possible care we can.
When you choose Heart and Hammer Homes for your projects, we take the guessing out and manage it all from start to finish for you. With our accredited in-house interior designer, we will choose fixtures, paint, decor, and furniture that helps turn your house, into a home. When choosing Heart and Hammer Homes for your project needs, please keep in mind that we are a full-service design company, while we are happy to incorporate your existing pieces into your design, design is at the forefront of our builds and a part of the package we offer.

We do not take on build-only projects.

We understand the building codes and requirements and can uphold them while also bringing in high-quality design, style, and functionality best suited for you and your family's needs. We will listen to your ideas and with your budget in mind, we will design, coordinate and plan your remodeling project from beginning to end.
Interior Design
For design-only projects, our clients will have a contract with us for design services. Depending upon the project, this contract may also include materials, such as cabinetry, countertops, furniture, lighting, bathroom fixtures and/or appliances. However, a design-only contract does NOT include any demolition, construction or on-site installation. For these services, you will need to secure a separate contract with a local builder or other contractors in your area who can complete the physical work.
KITCHENS
The kitchen is the heart of the home, so why wouldn't you want it to be perfect. Designing your dream kitchen is best done with an experienced and professional designer, who can help bring your vision to life.
BATHROOMS
The bathroom is such a small but impactful space in the house. If it's not somewhere that is quiet and serene when you just need a few minutes to yourself, we can help. Let us do all the work, and create the bathroom you've always wanted, where you are proud to have guests come over and use it.
AIRBNBS
Take your AirBnB space to the next level with Heart and Hammer Homes' design expertise. We can help completely transform your space to a beautiful, high-end, welcoming home away from home for any guest. We can travel, or consult virtually to help you design this space.
Our Process
Your home design and build experience will begin when you contact us and fill out our questionnaire—from there we will schedule an on-site or virtual consultation to get acquainted with your project location. We will then follow up with a design meeting to review your designs and plans. An experienced professional member of our team is happy to help bring the heart back into your home, curating a space that best represents your style and your family’s lifestyle. We strive to create purposeful and impactful design decisions and to implement them with the best quality products and contractors within your budget.
