Phase Four: Design SupportYour 1 week of support includes a thirty-minute follow-up call OR one week of email support to ask questions about your design, or request clarification on items presented in the design. We will help you purchase items through Heart and Hammer, and provide a Heart and Hammer Resources Guide.

Phase Two: Your Design DayDuring this phase, we will have a 1-2 hour video conference to discuss the project, design challenges, goals, and your design style. You will be provided a moodboard, design plan, shared Pinterest board etc, design plan, color palette, material selections with links to purchase, and more. We will send tips prior to your session to make sure you feel completely prepared!

Phase Three: Your Design PlanOnce your design plan is ready, you'll be able to get started! We will provide a 1 hour support call to review your plan and deliverables. You'll receive your digital design plan detailing the recommended furniture and accessories, a virtual presentation of your design, suggestions and tips, samples and swatches, a resource guide, a bedding essentials guide, and 1 week of email support while you're implementing your design.

Phase One: Your Design StyleDuring this phase, we will conduct a Discovery Call, and review your completed Design Questionnaire. We will look at some inspiration images you've provided and talk about what you like and don't like. You will be required to take and send measurements and photos of your space to our team. We will send you a Measuring and Photography Guide to help you with this process.

How much does a consultation cost and what does it include?We are happy to have an initial, brief discovery call at no charge to see if we are a good fit for your project. Once we come to a mutual agreement to proceed with project scoping, we will schedule a full design consultation. This includes a site visit (in person or virtually) and preparation of a detailed project scope; room by room. The cost of the design consultation depends upon complexity of the project, time spent on site and distance to travel. We will provide you with a design consultation cost following the discovery call once we understand the scope it will entail.

What is included in virtual design projects? What will my project cost?Each project is unique. Costs will depend upon the complexity of the design, the scope of the work and the materials chosen. We will provide a detailed estimate for your customized design services package following the design consultation, at which point we will agree on the scope of work for your project. Once the design services are agreed upon, the design phase will begin starting with preliminary designs. A detailed project estimate and timeline will be provided following the preliminary designs.

Do you provide a warranty on materials purchased from Heart and Hammer?We pass on the manufacturer’s warranty for all the materials we purchase for our clients. Some of these are lifetime warranties.

Step Two: Project EstimateOnce we have all the details, we will get together your estimate, timeline, and anything else to scope out your project.

Step Three: Design & DeliveryOnce your design-build is complete, we will finish up with the most homey touches to welcome you back into your space. All projects include the following design components: 2D black & white floor plan and elevations. 3D color rendered views with 1 top view and views of each wall in your space. A project specification list including products, appliances, furniture and accessories. A mood board to showcase colors, textures and finishes. Three video calls or in-person meetings with your designer (Initial consultation & discovery, initial review & final review)
